Arrival in Casablanca. (If the flight arrives in the morning, the night will be spent in Rabat)
Visit the famous Hassan II Mosque and the market (habbous), lunch and eventually dinner, close to the port.
Stay in a hotel in the centre of Casablanca.
Casablanca – Rabat
After leaving Casablanca, head for the the capital city of Morocco, Rabat home of the Chellah, the Mausoleum and Kasbah l’Oudaya.
Overnight in the old part of the city.
Rabat – Chefchaouen
Visit of the mountain village “Chefchaouen” and overnight in a typical hostel for hikers in the Rif mountains close to the town.
Delicious local food.
Chefchaouen – Fès
Enjoy your morning at leisure in the blue citadel of Chefchaouen.
Depart for Fes early afternoon. Check-in at your Riad on arrival
In the morning, a guided historical sightseeing tour of the old town, which is a UNESCO cultural heritage site, visit the the archaeological site of Volubilis (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is home to the largest and most well-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. With its triumphal arches and basilicas, the skyline is peppered with examples of Roman architecture.
Fès – Imilchil (day trip)
We leave Fès and drive to Imilchil, a small Berber village in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains.
We enjoy an overnight stay next to the most beautiful mountain lake in Morocco.
Imilchil – Ouarzazate (day trip)
Driving through the High Atlas Mountains, we have lunch at the Gorges of Tineghir; after which we visit the Gorges of Dadès. Our overnight stay will take place in Ouarzazate, a pleasant desert town and ‘capital’ of the south of Morocco.
Ouarzazate – Bivouac Chigaga (day trip)
We drive into the heart of the desert to the bivouac Chigaga, located in the middle of the big dunes called ‘Ocean of Sand.
Overnight stay in typical Berber tents or outside under the stars.
Bivouac Chigaga – Zagora
Driving through the desert to M’Hamid; the last village at the entrance to the desert. We pass through through typical Berber villages en route to Zagora, a beautiful small town at the entrance to the desert.
Our overnight stay will be spent in a riad.
Zagora – Marrakech
We drive through the amazing palm tree valley of Draa, famous for the many kasbahs.
Visit the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO cultural heritage site.
Cross the Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains.
Overnight stay in a Riad.
Guided tour of Marrakech to include historical monuments, and the world-famous souk (market).
